Pollution Générale
Hero background

Burning the planet, responsibly.

We're trying to phase out coal investments. We really are. But sometimes, even environmentalists need a day off. That's why we funded coal production through loopholes in our own coal policy.

See How We Do It

We never fund coal companies.
We just sometimes fund their subsidiaries.

In 2020, we made a commitment to stop funding coal. So we stopped funding the world's largest private coal company, Adani, and gave millions to Adani "Green", a totally different company.

Loopholes

Not green,
but green enough

Adani "Green"'s funds aren't ring-fenced, which means the money we give them also funds coal. This helps us meet our commitments to the planet, while keeping coal flowing.
